I started this blog because I feel there are way too many sites that try to sell you a pipe dream and don’t discuss real-world challenges we face in addressing financial freedom.
The truth is achieving overnight wealth is unlikely for many of us. Building with wealth is a long-term game.
With incremental improvements over time, financial freedom and becoming financially responsible can be a possibility for all of us.
I didn’t become a millionaire overnight, and I’m still not. I went from -$108,000 net worth (Thanks student loans) in 2011 to +$365,000 as of June 2021.
I achieved this mainly through fiscal responsibility, seeking to raise my income, living below my means, and always searching for the best products out there. No magic pill here, just a little hard work and some planning. I’ve made some mistakes along the way, and I still do, however that’s The Real World.
So, if you’re looking to improve your personal finance knowledge, get the best bang for your buck, and maybe a laugh or two along the way, then this site is for you.
P.S. I am only going to discuss products and services I actually use and like. I’m not going to talk about a product or service I never used or I think is garbage, but will promote it because someone is going to pay me. That just wouldn’t be Real.
If you have any comments or thoughts, I’m always looking for a fresh perspective. Feel free to hit me up:
